The idea of the Starter Kit is simple: We want to make it as easy as possible for you to talk in class.
The truth is many people would love to share what they know about money with kids in classrooms across America, but they simply don’t know where to begin. That’s why we created The Starter Kit.
Don’t know what to talk about? We’ve got ideas.
Unsure of whom to reach out to? We’ll point you in the right direction — and tell you what to say when you reach out to them.
Stumped about how to structure your talk? We’ll help you outline your talk so you can keep the kids’ interest and your important message can come across loud and clear.
The kit includes templates and real-life examples so you can easily take action on what you learn.
I founded TalkingInClass.org because I believe if more money-smart people share with kids what they know about money, we can dramatically improve childhood financial literacy in America. If we do that, we can change lives.
Talking in public can be intimidating — whether you’re talking to kids or adults and whether it’s your first time or 101st time. The Starter Kit is designed with that in mind. It’s about helping people feel more confident about sharing what they know.
